Yahoo Goes More Mobile Purchasing MileWise and GoPollGo

  Yahoo has announced the acquisitions of two mobile startup companies, MileWise and GoPollGo, yesterday. Each of the startups has also announced that they will be closing down their services to join Yahoo's mobile team. The small team from MileWise will be joining Yahoo's New York mobile office and the GoPollGo founders will join the California office.   Yahoo has not shared exactly how the companies' mobile technologies would be used with Yahoo nor the terms of the deals with the mobile startups. Facebook Data Center Coming to Iowa

  Facebook has just announced its new state of the art data center, which will be located in Altoona, Iowa. This summer, Facebook plans to break ground on the project and have the data center ready for use in 2014. Google Fiber Launches Next in Austin Texas

Rumors had been swirling to what Google would be announcing today, including Austin, Texas as the possible new location for Google Fiber.
