Microsoft will today familiarize the world with its latest project as it aims to limit the lead taken by Apple in assuming control of the tablet market while also making ground on Google’s Android software.
Design aspects of Windows 8 have previously been released, but up until today, technical details which will indicate whether windows 8 will be nimble enough to run without performance issues, have not been outlined.
Essentially Microsoft were among the pioneers of tablet operating systems, with a dedicated version of their XP platform released and distributed along with some of the first adapted laptops.
Reports suggest that the operating system will not be available until next year.
