Engagement Is The Key To Building A Successful Facebook Brand Page

When Facebook was fresh and brand new, the purpose of it was to keep people connected with their friends and family. Once it added the option to make Facebook pages and brands people began to get more professional on the network. Now that Facebook has grown, more people are using this site to bring in business and sales.

Accumulating tons of fans and likes is a very important task when dealing with Facebook but not everyone realizes how to keep them. Most users think that once a person is a fan they are obligated to like and share the companies post. That is not true at all. Just because they like your page doesn’t mean they are going to like, comment or share any of your posts. Knowing how to make the most engagement out of your posts is the best way to keep and gain fans.

When you post content that allows people to get involved, you will see that viewers will have a reason to like, comment or share your information. Fill in the blanks are a great way to give users a reason to respond. Each blank is an empty space for people to share their own creativity and thoughts. Fans love being able to get their words out there so give them a spot and reason to.

Pictures always catch a readers eye. No matter what text you add with the photo, it is more likely to be seen. Almost 90% of posts with pictures get more views than one without. Photos grab the readers attention and give them something visual. Familiar images that deal with your brand are great pictures to post. Posting pictures will keep your page looking fresh and interesting.

Don’t forget that every photo caption can cause engagement as well. If you post a picture, make sure to write an attractive, interesting caption. Social media networking is all about giving other people a reason to want to come back to your page.

One of the easiest ways to get people to respond on your page are posts with questions. Give your fans something to answer to. You really don’t even have to put that much thought into the question. It could simply read “Do you agree?” or “Have you been through this before?”. Anything that ends with  a question is more likely to have replies.

Engaging with your fans is the best way to keep them. No one wants to be apart of a brand that never interacts with their fan base. Once you learn how to properly engage with your viewers you will see more success with your brand page.

Do you take the time to interact with your fans? Is there any other ways to keep them interested in your brand?
